1. Tatranská Lomnica and Dinner Under the Stars at Skalnaté Pleso

2. A Ride on the Historic Train in Starý Smokovec

Your children – and all lovers of history – will surely enjoy a memorable ride on the legendary Kométa tram train. This historical gem runs every second Sunday in July, offering a unique journey back in time.

The route goes from Starý Smokovec to Tatranská Lomnica and back, enhanced by a guide in period costume, engaging storytelling, and a cheerful atmosphere on board. You can easily catch the train from our Hriebienok LUX apartments in Starý Smokovec, which are ideal for families with children.

3. Culture and History in Spišská Sobota

Spišská Sobota is a hidden gem – streets like from a Renaissance film, calm cafés, and rich history. Our DEFORTE apartments in Spišská Sobota offer a combination of urban style and historic charm, with a view over the main square you'll fall in love with at first sight.

In July, we recommend visiting the Podtatranské Museum, where on July 10th the exhibition “Tribute to Scherfel” opens. It honors a renowned botanist and physician who influenced the scientific life of the region. The exhibition offers a unique perspective on the Tatras' history.

4. Venetian Night at Štrbské Pleso
